What is TruSculpt?

TruSculpt is a breakthrough noninvasive technology to address a wide set of aesthetic concerns on the body.  Cutera’s TruSculpt is clinically proven to deliver deep, uniform heating to tackle the toughest concerns with comfort and ease – even on the smallest of areas of the body.
How does it work?  Cutera TruSculpt uses Radio Frequency (RF) to help remove unwanted fat.  Like other RF devices, TruSculpt will re-contour the body by targeting and disrupting specific pockets of fat cells. The heat from the RF energy can get to those cells without harming the skin’s surface. Once broken up, the fat dissolves and then eventually leaves the body through natural processes.
RF energy also stimulates the production of collagen, a protein that gives skin elasticity and structure, thus helping to tighten skin and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.
What areas can be treated?  The TruSculpt system is designed to treat multiple zones of the body.  This procedure is most beneficial for the thighs, buttocks and abdomen, but it can be used on other areas of stubborn fat as well.
How many treatments are needed?  Dr. Hiranaka and his trained aesthetician will discuss with you the number of treatments based upon the area(s) you wish to have treated and your desired results. Typically a patient will receive 2-3 treatments. Each treatment should be 4-8 weeks apart.
What about the face and neck?  Dr. Hiranaka now offers RF solutions for the full body, face and neck with TruSculpt, ThermiLift, and ThermiSmooth technologies.
